ATSF Unveils “Moment · Eternity”: Pioneering Art Exhibition at Expo 2025 Osaka
August 30, 2025, Expo 2025 Osaka
In an era where digital acceleration reshapes culture and fleeting content dominates, Moment · Eternity confronts a critical question: How can art sustain enduring value in a transient world?
This groundbreaking exhibition formed part of the ATSF activity week (25-31, 2025) at Expo 2025 Osaka. It pioneers a radical “time-limited” format, transforming the gallery into a “theater of time” where each artwork appears briefly before disappearing. This intentional transience strips away distraction, compelling viewers to engage deeply with the essence of art in a single moment.
To highlight the fusion of art and technology in the AI era, the exhibition launched a global call for AI artworks, receiving over 500 submissions from around the world. After a rigorous selection process, 100 works were
chosen to be showcased.
Featuring global emerging artists working with AI, painting, video, and performance, the project explores the tension between ephemeral digital creation and timeless meaning. High-fidelity documentation and blockchain technology extend these “moments” into traceable digital archives, ensuring their legacy beyond the exhibition.
Moment · Eternity is more than an art show – it’s a vital experiment. It challenges assumptions about originality in the age of AI, questions art’s role amidst “viral” culture, and ultimately suggests: True eternity may reside not in permanence, but in the soul-stirring moments that collectively build human civilization.
