At the Art & Tech for a Sustainable Future (ATSF) program, we recognize that equipping young minds with the tools, knowledge, and inspiration to address global challenges is vital for achieving long-term impact. By merging creativity and technology, ATSF provides an empowering platform for young changemakers to reimagine solutions for the world’s most pressing problems.

Education is at the heart of sustainable development. As highlighted by SDG 4 (Quality Education), access to inclusive and equitable education is fundamental to building resilient societies. Yet, over 244 million children and youth worldwide remain out of school, limiting their ability to contribute to sustainable solutions. ATSF tackles this gap by offering workshops, collaborative projects, and mentorship opportunities that encourage interdisciplinary thinking and foster innovation among youth.

Through our program, participants explore how digital tools and artistic practices can address issues such as climate change, inequality, and biodiversity loss. For example, immersive technologies like virtual reality enable students to experience the impact of deforestation firsthand, inspiring them to act on SDG 15 (Life on Land). Meanwhile, interactive art projects bring awareness to global inequalities, sparking dialogue and mobilizing communities to pursue SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
